Safety Advice Centre Ltd is Northern Irelands longest established Health, Safety, Compliance and Asbestos Consultancy, based in Bangor County Down, the company was formed in 1984 by Bill McAllister the present Managing Director. Bill is supported by a dedicated inhouse team of highly qualified and experienced professionals. Over the last 30 years Safety Advice Centre Ltd have been at the forefront of Health and Safety developments in Northern Ireland.

Bill McAllister
Chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health holding an MSSc in Health and Safety from Queens University Belfast.
At SAC Bill has delivered a wide range of Safety and Asbestos projects across the full range of public and private sectors in Northern Ireland and is widely regarded as the leading expert in this field.
Outside of work Bill is a keen member of Clandeboye Golf Club regularly following Jonathan Caldwell on European Tour events. Bill also has a passion for rugby attending the majority of Ulster Rugby home games at the Kingspan Stadium.
William McAllister
Holding an MSSc in Health and Safety from Queens University together with the BOHS W504 in Asbestos William has built up a wide range of experience in delivering asbestos consultancy services to SAC’s extensive client portfolio over the last twelve years.
Away from work William is a keen Crossfitter attending the gym daily and regularly competing in team competitions. This just leaves enough time to maintain his single figure golf handicap.
Laura McAllister
Graduating with a degree in Psychology from Queens University Belfast Laura quickly put this to good use in managing the SAC Human Resource function for the last six years , further developing her skill set in the intervening years now has full responsibility for Finance and HR.
Laura is an important member of the SAC senior management team ensuring the smooth administration of the business.
Away from work loves spending valued time with family members and loved ones whilst also finding important time for a few holidays during the year.
James Harding
James is the current Deputy Quality Manager and is responsible for assisting with maintaining the asbestos quality systems and audit processes required for UKAS accreditation. James finished University with a bachelors degree in Applied Science and Forensic Measurement which has put him in good stead for a career as an asbestos consultant with an eye for detail and ability to follow technical guidance. James has worked in the asbestos industry for the last 19 Years, the last 9 with SAC.
When not at work James is family orientated and can often be found enjoying bike rides with his two children Noah and Freya.
James McCann
James has spent 10 years working as an asbestos analyst/surveyor across the UK , attaining a range of BOHS asbestos qualifications. Over the last three years at SAC James has taken on the responsibility as asbestos manager predominantly within the health sector in N. Ireland ensuring the smooth delivery of services exceeding client expectations.
Away from work James is a keen footballer and enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and friends.
Tracey Rylance
Tracey’s title of office manager doesn’t do justice to the major role she fulfils in the delivery of SAC asbestos services, ensuring the effective scheduling of resources has been a vital part of SAC’s success over the last number of years. Tracey provides an important link with customers ensuring that information provided is circulated to analysts/surveyors in a timely manor.
Tracey is married Stuart, has two children (one of which also works at SAC). She is a volunteer for Rosie’s Trust, and this takes up a good bit of her spare time.
